These fruits make the stool soft which can be easily passed through. Other fiber-rich fruits and vegetables include sprouts, spinach, broccoli, carrots, and whole grains. All these items are considered best for the cleaning of the entire digestive tract and eliminate constipation, which is one of the major causes of piles.
Plenty of water should be taken at regular intervals. A person should have eight to 10 glass of water every day to prevent piles. Intake of water helps in the removal of toxins from the body and makes the body hydrated. Juices and vegetable soups can also be taken as they both are helpful in piles. Introduce salads of carrots, radish, and other vegetables in raw form in the diet.
Use whole-grain flours and cornmeal to increase the amount of fiber in the diet. Barley and oats are a rich source of soluble fiber. Types of beans such as navy, kidney beans, and black beans have approximately 7 and 10 grams of fiber to fulfill the daily need. Nuts such as almonds also have sufficient amount of fiber needed to prevent the problem of piles. Beans and buts can also be used in salads and other recipes such as vegetable soups.
Brown rice is preferred over regular rice for the patients suffering from piles and Hemorrhoid. Extra polish coat rice should be avoided.
